Osteria delle Tre Panche

Osteria delle Tre Panche (Via A Pacinotti, 32/R) Osteria Three Benches..and it is indeed. There are three tables in a very small room.  You feel  instantaneously at the home of an Italian nonna when you enter the small dimly lit dining room.  The aroma of white truffles and meatballs sizzling in garlic and oil consumes the air. Soon after sitting, we were given a complimentary antipasto of two small toasts with a pate of tomatoes. For my meal, I ordered maccheroni alla rustica and it was hands down,  one of the most amazing meals I have had in Florence.
